- Twelve years ago, Super Cat was just another aspiring
- musician with a sad, sad story. Locked up in a Jamaican prison
- for crimes he says he didn't commit, he appeared to have an
- ill-fated future. But today, thanks to the success of his latest
- album, Don Dada, the Kingston-born singer is languishing in a
- Nagoya hotel room, feeding on fish breakfasts during a Japanese
- tour. With his signature dance-hall sound -- a potent blend of
- rap and reggae -- Super Cat is starting to claim fame around the
- world. Says Super Cat: "I wouldn't trade all of this for love
- or money."
